Harry Potter was finally home again. Everything that had been happening over the summer, and even before the summer began was still weighing on his mind. He was going to have private lessons with Dumbledore and they all knew he wasn't a liar now. He wasn't too happy about all of the attention he got, but he was used to it and at least now it wasn't a negative attention like he had gotten last year from the majority of the school, though if there was one thing about last year he actually did not wish could change it was the strong bonds he formed with Dumbledore's Army while they fought against the evil Umbridge. He'd reunited with his best friends but now he was eating breakfast alone in the great hall, mostly because he wanted to be alone for a little bit right now. Perhaps it was that he wanted to brood, but at least for now he poked at his eggs and stared while he thought for a little bit about everything in general.
Regardless of what happened last year he felt that he was home. It was a refreshing feeling to be away from the Dursleys, away from Dudley, even though they had gotten better especially after last year's dementor attack and how he saved Dudley from losing his soul. The stone walls, the sound of people laughing and hanging out with their friends. He looked towards the doors that led into the great hall that he sat in, and wondered if Ron or Hermione would join him. Then again, knowing Hermione she was probably in a morning class. After finding out that he could be in potions, well, he'd been fairly happy since when he got his results he felt like everything was over. But now... well, now everything felt right. Everything felt normal.
Harry smiled and looked down at his food and took a bite instead of playing with the breakfast before him. He would be fine. He just had to look forward to this year and take things as they happened instead of dreading what was to come next.
